Film Festival Acceptance

We are thrilled to announce that our film Anopheles has been selected to be screened at the Carmel International Film Festival this October!

Anopheles is a feature-length documentary directed by Will Agee that follows a team of scientists and volunteers working in São Tomé and Príncipe to confront one of humanity’s deadliest diseases—malaria—at its source. Set against lush rainforests and vibrant local communities, the film captures the frontlines of innovation and collaboration as researchers pursue bold new strategies, including genetically modifying mosquitoes, to stop the spread of malaria and bring hope to affected populations.
